Senior Demand Planning Manager (m/f/d), Munich

Your Mission

• Lead the Integrated Business Planning/ S&OP process
• Facilitate monthly meetings with all relevant stakeholder to agree on forecasts and demand scenarios
• Ensure the consistency of forecast by tracking and explaining changes
• Help identify risks and opportunities
• Coordinate demand plans, sales targets and budgets with production/ distribution planning
• Demand Forecasting on short-/midand long-term horizon ensuring high forecast accuracy
• Run analyses on historical data and statistical forecast models
• Collect and agree baseline assumptions to calculate baseline forecast
• Enrich forecasts with special events based on inputs from internal stakeholders and customers
• Validate feasibility of unconstrained demand forecast and plan demand according to constraints
• Responsible for the improvement of planning processes, demand planning systems and scenario simulation tools
• Develop functional and managerial skills of team members and set up their development plans

Your Profile

• University degree and at least 8 years experience in Demand Planning or similar, preferable in FMCG
• Analytical and data driven without losing big picture
• Proactive and solution-oriented working style
• Strong communication skills and assertiveness
• Challenging mindset and easy to adapt to continuous change
• First leadership experience
• Advanced Excel skills, knowledge in SAP-APO-DP or IBP is a plus
• Fluent in English and German language
