Missions

• Advise on Financial Security (KYC/AML) topics
• Contribute and assist the (Deputy) Head of Financial Security Frankfurt to get a consolidated view of KYC/AML risks
• Ensure timely investigation/escalation of AML alerts or KYC cases requiring enhanced due diligence while keeping focus on quality regarding the risk assessment and recommendation
• Optimize current AML setup during ad hoc and regular review exercises
• Facilitate regulatory watch and ensure participation in annual risk assessments and other required reporting within the Financial Security area
• Foster collaboration and support the Financial Security area across Business Lines

Profile

• Bachelor/Master with Legal and/or Economic educational background or alternatively a banking apprenticeship, ideally supplemented by banking specialist / banking specialized economist
• Knowledge and previous experience in Financial Security (KYC/AML) topics as well as sanctions and embargoes, anti-bribery, boycott and corruption
• Ability to animate / train FS and KYC community
• Knowledge of Financial Security issues and challenges specific to his/her perimeter
• Questioning existing models and procedures; challenging the status quo; stepping out of existing limitations, concepting and developing solutions that make a difference
• Ability to manage and control compliance risk
• Very good German and English language skills in word and writing
