Your main missions
- Plan and implement new products and/or changes to the manufacturing process
- Provide manufacturing engineering support to production and quality
- Review processes and procedures on an on-going basis for safety, quality and production efficiency
- Participate in Hoshin and Continuous Improvement events as assigned
- Develop plans in accordance with customer requirements using value analysis, and other techniques including PFMEA and control plans
- Lead continuous improvement efforts of the company through value analysis, maintaining up to date knowledge of manufacturing/tooling techniques
- Review all production methods for compliance to quality and safety standards and for improvement of product quality standards
- Develop and implement manufacturing documentation and other operator instructions
- Prepare documentation, checking equipment planning, designing for floor inspections
The mission will last 18 months (renewable once up to 24months).
Who are you
- Master’s degree in Engineering
- Fluent in English
- German in basic as minimum
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, decision making and communication skills
- Must be capable of working with a wide variety of people from the shop floor to managers, vendors, suppliers and customers
- Practical knowledge of quality, continuous improvement, and other analytical and action planning tools
- Knowledgeable computer skills
