Project Manager Smart Grid / Flexibility (m/f/n), Luxembourg
Your tasks
- As a project manager, you ensure the development of Smart Grid and grid flexibility projects
- You participate in the definition and implementation of the Creos Smart Grid and flexibility strategy
- You ensure that the Smart Grid / flexibility projects are conducted in accordance with applicable regulation, quality, budget, and time requirements
- You conduct market research to understand consumers/prosumers behavior in terms of commitment and engagement
- You identify and define the functional and technical requirements for Smart Grid and flexibility tools at Creos, together with the relevant Subject Matter Experts from other departments
- You identify and define digitalization requirements (data, applications, communication) from the grid and from the customers for the operation of flexibility mechanisms, together with the relevant Subject Matter Experts from other departments
- You participate in the identification of potential future grid congestions, and the potential operational use of flexibility to solve these congestions
- You set up a methodology to evaluate the economic value of customer flexibility for Creos, in comparison to grid reinforcements
- You follow up on regulatory developments in relation to Smart Grid and flexibility at the national and European level and make sure that Creos is compliant with these
- You follow up on Smart Grid / flexibility strategies and projects from other European DSOs
- You ensure regular reporting to hierarchy
Your profile
- You hold a master’s degree in engineering, specialized in electrotechnics, energy systems or in any related field
- As a result, and solution orientated team player, you take responsibilities and decisions
- You show leadership, engagement and collaboration
- You have an open mind towards a changing energy environment and identify new opportunities
- You are familiar with IT technology and Data principles.
- You have effective verbal and written communication skills in English. German, French and/or Luxembourgish are a plus
- Experience in the design and/or operation of an electricity grid is seen as a plus
