Job description
The Service Center Berlin is one of the three Mercedes-Benz Bank locations in Germany, together with headquarters in Stuttgart and the Service Center for private customers in Saarbruecken. Located in the centre of Berlin nearby Alexanderplatz, the new MB Bank Service Center is responsible for all captive financial services products for commercial customers. This includes vehicle financing and leasing services as well as vehicle insurances. We are progressively integrating internal European functions and therefore creating new positions in our center in the heart of Berlin. Your tasks will be:
- Responsible for retail areas
- Negotiate with customer to collect monthly installments from customers facing a problem of high arrears by using available technology while adhering to regulatory requirements
- Use negotiation tools to determine a customers reason for delinquency
- Provide proactive thinking to utilize internal tool kit to assist customer in determining the proper resolution (payment, restructure, voluntary surrender)
- Provide restructuring agreements to qualified customers
- Verification and execution of risk reducing actions into the conceded competencies
- Facilitation of contract termination, vehicle repossession and assignment of cases to third party lawyers for non-resolved collection cases
- Support and execution of insolvency proceedings
Qualification
- Bank / Commercial education, additional qualification desirable
- Experience in debt collection or customer service
- Experience in claim management
- Experience in conflict resolution and customer retention
- Experience in working in call center environment will be a plus, but not necessary
- French language skills native speaker level
- English language skills advanced level
- Communication skills, flexibility, negotiation skills, good self assertion
- Good teamworker, reliable and self reliant way of working
