You take responsibility

• Management of the Wholesale Accounting team and optimization of resources
• Monitoring of and contribution to the accounting and closing processes
• Monitoring and resolution of accounting errors and discrepancies
• Organization and supervision of tax accounting and tax related reporting
• Organizing and monitoring local regulatory reporting for the wholesale scope
• Monitoring Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities
• Organizing and performing 1st level controls and documentation
• Leading or contribution to Finance data quality and controls

Your experience ensures quality

• Bachelor degree or above degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• 10 years+ experience in Accounting/ financial Reporting, preferably in a leading position in a banking organization or in an audit firm with coverage of auditing Financial institutions
• 5 years+ experiences in a managerial role
• Proficient in German GAAP, IFRS and knowledgeable in German taxation and related accounting (WHT, VAT, Corporate Income Tax)
• Good knowledge of German banking regulatory environment and regulatory reporting requirements
• Proven experience in leading role in regulatory or accounting projects is a plus
• Fluent German and good English language skills
