Missions

  • Member of management committee
  • Input into overall strategy of French Consumer Health Division
  • Define category growth platform for key categories and produce commercial strategy based on category and Shopper insights
  • Define and deliver the Trade Marketing and Shopper Marketing strategy
  • Develop Customer Joint Business Plans in collaboration with Sales
  • Develop e-commerce strategy and identifying the path to step change eCommerce
  • Develop and execute HCP engagement plan

Activities / Key tasks :

  • Lead category and trade marketing development team by upscaling team skills to execute in-store based on category visions
  • Supervising strategic planning and monitoring competition in regards to in-store execution and generate objective recommendations
  • Coordinating business planning and contributing to strategic committee, budget and business review with the global key stakeholders
  • Co-create assortment and distribution priorities with sales
  • Developing and deploying the strategic category vision for the key brands
  • Develop and drive an e-commerce strategy and identifying the path to step change eCommerce
  • Translating brand strategies into yearly commercial activation plans adapted for distribution and the different customer types to drive visibility and HCP recommendation
  • Analyzing market performance and ROI of the various commercial and marketing levers and suggesting adapted action plans
  • Managing a team of 6-8 direct reports, across Nutritional, Dermatology and Digestive Health et.
  • Acting as interface between the marketing and sales department so as to maximize synergies.

Work Relations:

  • Internal: display strong collaborative spirit with peers, marketing, sales, regulatory & medical affairs, legal, finance, HR, order to cash, supply.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from a business school or master’s degree in Business Management, Marketing or equivalent subject
  • Minimum of ten years’ experience, three of which in a management committee post
  • Strategic vision and leadership
  • Sector expertise (key players, trends, customers)
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial and marketing levers as well as the commercial activation process
  • Digital mindset and ideally e-commerce experience
  • Strong analytical skills (proficiency in data management)
  • Project and team management, personal skills and customer focus
  • Quick thinker, fast decision maker and creative
  • French & fluency in English required.
  • Experience in FMCG (Food, Cosmetics). Experience in OTC (Over the Counter) categories would be ideal.
  • Collaborative with excellent relationship building skills.
