Analytics Solution Architect (d/m/w), Augsburg

Roles and Responsibilities

• Supporting other departments in the development of company-wide reporting systems.
• Responsible for the drafting, planning, development and implementation of Business Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions.
• Responsible for analysing the needs of future Data Analytics solutions and the investigation of weaknesses in the Data Analytics process.
• Responsible for the modernisation strategy of the company’s Data Warehouse systems (e.g. SAP BW, HANA und MongoDB).
• Development of business processes to define the development, integration, deployment and monitoring of software solutions.
• Support of the decision-making process for the implementation of Data Analytics projects on the basis of business value.
• Responsible for the leadership and management of service providers in the development and analysis of business intelligence applications, as well as guiding customer needs.
• Responsible for the technical leadership of Data Analytics projects.
• Advising strategic IT projects.

Basic Qualifications

• experience and deep knowledge of data modelling with relational and multidimensional databases.
• experience with SAP BI solutions (BW on HANA, BI-Platform).
• experience with Data Warehouse technologies, including metadata management.
• Knowledge of SQL, ABAP or similar.
• Knowledge of internal company processes and decision-making processes (Controlling, Personnel, Finances, Production Planning, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and abstraction skills.
• Problem-oriented, organised and structured way of working.
• Independent way of working and excellent interpersonal skills, in combination with the ability to motivate, support, and develop colleagues.
• Open and receptive to change and new challenges.
• Very good German and English.
• University degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge in the protection of personal data.
• Very good knowledge of SAP technologies (ABAP-OO, native HANA, cloud, system integration, SAP basis) and the SAP roadmap as well as non-SAP technologies.
• Several years of practical experience in the development of data architectures, ideally also system architectures.
• Proven experience in personnel management, change management and cross-organizational, multifunctional team leadership.
