The main missions

• Structure the building of the panel: participate in the definition and the implementation of the purchasing panel policy for assigned commodities, manage supplier selection according to Group criteria
• Panel management: ensure a regular follow-up of the supplier performance in relation with the Supplier Quality Assurance Manager and implement a supplier's reduction plan consistent with Divisions and in coordination with the Business Groups
• Manage the global suppliers productivity in relation with plant buyers
• Develop and implement tools to improve global productivity
• Negotiate and implement general agreements with the main suppliers
• Ensure the utilisation of the panel by program and plant buyers
• Ensure the reporting of his or her activities following defined policies
• Support the Commodity Buyer Transport & Logistic – located in Valencia (Spain)

The length of the VIE is 12 months.

Profile

• Master's degree, if possible in engineering/Logistics , with a specialization in international purchasing
• Buyer experience in an industrial/Logistics environment
• Ideal Candidate would have already experience in Transport, Logistic & Packaging
• Results orientation with strong written and oral communications skills
• Ability to work in a matrixed organization
• International mind set, overseas experience a plus
• English is mandatory, German/Spanish are a plus
