Mission

The candidate will be fully involved in the Project Controlling of the Business Division Orbital Systems & Space Exploration. He/she will support the project management and control team in the following major activities:

• Fulfilment of all project control requirements (e.g. cost control, cost reporting, geographical distribution, inventory control,#)
• Creation of the forecasts, yearly plans and Expected at Completion - EAC (calculations, planning, milestones tracking, #)
• Analysis of the correlation/deviation between technical progress, actuals, and the forecast.
• Create EAC reports, Monthly Program Review or progress reports with economical and technical programme parameters (reporting, internal or external dashboard)

• The candidate will get a comprehensive overview over the challenges of project controlling in a typical Business Division of Astrium.
• He/she will get to know the financial landscape in the first months and acquire the on the job skill set for becoming an efficient and effective Controller in a complex group. This includes the understanding of the projects' and Astrium's key performance drivers and risks.
• Next to the challenge of working in a complex, international & intercultural environment, the challenge will be to develop an understanding of the big picture despite being involved in the local very operational environment of a project.
