Missions
- You create a transport plan for the geographical area assigned to you.
- You implement the transport plan by ensuring the daily shipping management.
- You organize and implement daily planning of the carriers.
- Manage carriers and transport planning to meet all service, cost and quality requirements.
- Ensure safety, health, quality and environmental standards and rules are implemented and followed.
- You carry out all the administrative tasks related to transport:
- Regulatory transport documents
- Ensure correct customs declaration meeting all internal and external requirements
- Follow-up of transport regulations (legislation, dangerous goods, etc.)
- Check of payments and validation of transport costs
- Proof of deliveries follow-up and recording.
- Management of disputes
- Recommend and implement projects which contribute towards the optimization of productivity within the Distribution Center.
- You maintain close relationships with transport service providers and work with them related to the optimization of the transport processes.
- SAP Key User (SAP Wave, DRP etc...)
Profile
- 2-4 years’ work experience in a transport department with a high knowledge of customs declarations.
- You have in-depth knowledge of national and international transportation.
- Strong on the shop floor and in interaction with the team and a strong communicator to manage all external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Human leadership, charisma and strong ability to convince.
- Customer service oriented.
- Excellent project management.
Autonomy, sense of simplification, able to define clear priorities.
- Agility, reactivity and clear state of mind.
- Multicultural sensitivity.
Technical skills :
- Excellent analytical skills, fact based.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP WM, Visio, MS Office (esp. Excel).
Language skills:
- German (mandatory)
