For our client one of the world's leading ecommerce companies we are looking for a:
Testing and Optimization Manager (f/m), Amsterdam, Netherlands
The Role
First of all: Internally they will nickname you the "conversion rate guru" so this is something you need to feel comfortable with.
You have at least a couple of years of experience within ecommerce, and you believe that the user journey, usability and in the end conversion rate is the heart of all Ecommerce. How good is it to drive a lot of traffic to a website if you don't give the customers the best experience.
As the testing and optimization manager you will be heading the UX team. This is a new team in the customers online family, and they are looking forward to take the step into the forefront of Ecommerce. In your team you will have a junior specialist helping you with your daily tasks and you will be working closely with the data analyst, designers and web shop managers in improving the customer journey on our sites and external channels.
As optimization is all about data, data and data you need to enjoy divulging yourself in the world of the analytics tools and numbers you have at hand.
They have just recently implemented Qubit for our A/B testing and analysis, so you will have an excellent opportunity to set up a good structure for the testing and implementation processes.
A great eye for details and being a bit of a perfectionist will help you in achieving the set KPI's.
The position will be based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands; Malmö, Sweden; or Romsey UK.
Tasks
- Setting up and managing our UX lab
- Working closely with the group's stakeholders such as analyst, designers and web shop managers in planning and executing tests
- Utilize Qubit to launch and monitor testing results together with your team.
- Analyze data to form hypotheses on how to improve a specified KPI.
- Design and document test plan for a given test including testing method
- Solicit new testing ideas and maintain testing roadmap based on business objectives
- Co-operating with the online teams in Scanda and UK to develop best practice.
- Create reports according to KPI's
Requirements
- Two (2) or more years of testing and optimization experience
- Three (3) or more years of online marketing experience
- Proven experience with online testing platforms such Qubit, Monetate, Optimizely, etc.
- Experience using a web analytics tools like Google Web Analytics
- Javascript (not a must but a very strong skill to have)
- Strong foundation in statistics
- Excellent analytical/problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
