Missions

You will join the Customer Care and Technical Support team as a Spares Support Specialist within Spares Engineering Support service.

Your missions within the Spares Engineering service will be to:

  • Provide Spares Technical Support for structure perimeter (Leonardo/Airbus area) as well as standard parts, consumable and raw material. As such the candidate will need to analyses design product evolutions, select and propose spare parts, update SAP database accordingly used for spares business operations (Sourcing, stock & sales) and for aircraft maintenance documentation (Maintenance Illustrated Parts Data) authoring
  • Act as technical interface between the Engineering, Program directorates and Partners in order to provide expert knowledge to the other ATR departments (Spares Quality, Products & Services, Centers, Working Parties, etc.). This role will involve direct contact with the customers
  • Act as technical coordinator or focal points on transversal activities or within Spares Engineering activities,
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing processes and propose new ideas.

Activities

The main activities are:

  • Analyze design product configuration changes for airframe structure perimeter, applicability of airworthiness directives, and update aftermarket product support databases (SAP)
  • Analyze interchangeability between the various parts/assemblies/technological solutions in compliance with airworthiness, safety and certification rules
  • Manage technical customer requests by means of ATR tools (Operators, ATR centers & internal services)
  • Ensure technical interface between Engineering teams (structure, cabin), Partners and Customers (Spares perimeter)
  • Contribute to transverse project developments or services aiming to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage transverse and subcontracted activities
  • Contribute to Partners reviews in order to identify room of improvements related to technical data exchanges
  • Contribute to Program decision (Change Board) to anticipate and promote support requirements during design phases
  • Identifying part obsolescence and searching for alternative solutions
  • Ensure activities capitalization for structural and standard parts spare data
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing processes and root cause analysis
  • Represent Spares Engineering service during Partners or ATR centers visits.

Profile

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experiences:

  • Master degree in aeronautics or mechanics with early professional experience
  • Good knowledge of aircraft structures, aeronautic standards (hardware & electrics) and ability to analyze aircraft technical drawings (ATR, Leonardo & Airbus)
  • Good knowledge of design, manufacturing, metallic and composite materials data as well as protections and aeronautical standards will be required
  • Ability to manage project and transverse activities
  • Ability to manage and coordinate subcontracted activities in line with legal and budget requirements as manager’s back-up
  • Leadership profile and capability to be pro-active on improvement proposals regarding current working methods,
  • Highly concerned by Customer service and service minded
  • Team spirit, autonomy, good sense of organization and coordination skills
  • Knowledge of airworthiness requirements
  • Aeronautics standards: ATA100, iSPEC2000, S1000D
  • Good knowledge of aircraft technical documentation (SRM, IPC et AMM, SB, CMM)
  • LEAN approach
  • Team spirit, autonomy, good sense of organization and coordination skills
  • French and English languages: intermediate level. Italian will be a plus
  • Knowledge of IT tool: Office, MS Project, SAP, CRM, IBM, Focus, GILDA, ZAMIZ, etc.
  • Visual Basic or Power BI will be a plus.
