Senior Web Editor (m/f) French, Salzburg

Redbull.com is undertaking an ambitious plan to become a world leading, best in class source for sports, music, culture and entertainment.

Tasks

In this challenging position you are responsible for maintaining the homepage of Redbull.com International with focus on content in Spanish or French language. This means selecting the best content coming from a portfolio of vertical thematic channels, as well creating and commissioning content - special features, news, advertorials - that will be specifically conceived for Redbull.com.
Furthermore you will be responsible for proofreading, reviewing and optimising content published on our channels to ensure the overall consistency of style, tone of voice and language.
Content planning and monitoring of daily schedule, development of editorial policies and best practices to be applied worldwide will be further key responsibilities.

Requirements

• Education: Media studies or digital journalism are preferred
• Experience in digital publishing, with special focus on website management and portal management (where content is published on a daily basis)
• Working experience as a web journalist, web editor or community manager for at least 3 years in the following fields: action sports media, outdoor and adventure digital magazine, music portals and communities
• Excellent command of English and knowledge of German is appreciated
• Passionate about the World of Red Bull Knowledge of internet measurement metrics, applications and software including social media and major web analytics platforms
