Your assignments

• Manage French logistics service providers (warehousing) in charge of the logistics services in one of our central distribution centers
• Create new or improve existing warehouse processes (continual improvement) in cooperation with the logistics service providers
• Control warehouse inventories
• Implement and maintain qualityand service metrics (KPI) incl. derivation of measures
• Control compliance with regulatory requirements for respective central warehouses (temperature, air freight security, etc.)
• Perform regular audits and assist on quality issues in accordance with GDP, AMG and MDR and process complaints (CAPA)
• Coordinate quality assurance requirements at the central warehouse locations and communicate with the responsible quality departments
• Plane and perform inventory counts
• Support master data maintenance (SAP ERP and WM)
• Control costs and services
• Manage and plan transports from production plants to central warehouses and between central warehouses

Your profile

• Completed commercial apprenticeship with many years of experience in the field of logistics, warehousing, freight forwarding or supply chain management in manufacturing companies (preferably pharma)
• Several years of experience in logistics-specific processes
• Experience of warehousing of hazardous substances, loading dangerous goods (ADR, IMDG, …) and with air freight safety regulations (storage)
• Many years of experience in dealing with transport service providers and warehouse service providers
• Very good knowledge of SAP (ERP) and very good knowledge of warehouse management systems (preferably SAP-based, e.g. EWM)
• Deeper experience in project management (e.g. CIP projects)
• Team and communication skills with high customer orientation
• Good English language skills, knowledge of German and French language desirable
• Willingness to travel
