Task & accountabilities
In coordination with the relevant Data Protection Officer(s) and the Head of Data Protection of the relevant Division(s), and within the framework of Airbus Data Protection Policies and standards, your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Support Airbus compliance with GDPR and other applicable data protection legislations through delivery of proper guidance and risk assessment to the business across the three Divisions including the Affiliates
- Ensure with the GDPR Focal Points the exhaustive mapping of the personal data processing of Airbus in the Airbus Data Protection tool
- Manage risks through the implementation of proper Privacy Impact Assessments as required
- Support update of Airbus Data Protection standards, tools and methodologies as needed
- Support the deployment and the activities of the GDPR Focal Points Network per functions and Affiliates
- Support Data Privacy Agreement negotiation and finalization in coordination with Procurement and Legal Department
- Raise and develop awareness amongst Management and employees on the requirements of personal data protection
- Contribute to the supervision of the correct application of data processing programs with which personal data is processed and work towards personal data protection compliance of Airbus in France in close cooperation with the French Data Protection Officer
- Support performance of audits in functions and/or affiliates as per the Airbus Data Protection audit Plan in coordination with the Focal Point of the Function or the Affiliate
- Ensure proper coordination with Legal and Compliance and representation of Airbus Data Protection as required
Required skills
You have the following skills and experience:
- Professional experience of 10 years as data protection and/or IT security or data governance professional, in-house and/or in a law firm, preferably in France
- Anticipation, entrepreneurial and team-player
- Fluent English French helpful
- Ability to work in an international and cross-functional environment
- Strong communication skills, incl. active listening and written/oral expression
- High professional integrity and ethical standards
- Strong negotiation skills
