Using our online travel magazine, our Content Marketing & Communication team aims to use relevant educational or emotional storytelling in order to get users to learn about and like trivago as their first source of hotel-related information. Now we are looking for an analytically minded individual who will focus on our campaigns in France in order to ensure that they are reaching as wide an audience as possible. You will need to know every element of your market and, as you seek valuable opportunities for our campaigns, you will research traffic, keywords and audiences in order to maximize our search visibility, reach and engagement. You will also stay on top of news and social trends in order to consider new content opportunities and potential project briefs to present to the team. You will be our analytics expert, employing tools to measure campaign performances and using the results to help inform our future strategy. As the team's search engine optimization consultant, you will ensure that all of our online magazine's content is optimized so as to increase our search engine visibility and check our backlink portfolio to make sure that reputable sites are redirecting to ours.
We are looking for a new team member with excellent French writing skills to strengthen our international team in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Your tasks
- Primary point of contact for French media enquiries.
- Contact and build relationships with French journalists.
- Research and write press releases.
- Prepare press materials for the trivago's French platform.
- Day-to-day responsibility of achieving PR objectives.
- Regularly analyze the local media response.
- Engage in local social media projects such as Twitter and Facebook.
Your profile
- You have a university degree in the field journalism, communication or similar.
- You have at least 1 year practical experience in Public Relations.
- You have knowledge and understanding of the media landscape in France.
- You speak French at a native level and have a strong proficiency in English.
- You are looking for a long-term job in Germany.
- You have excellent writing skills in French.
- You have the ability to convey information to your colleagues and business partners effectively and efficiently.
- Your creativity and inventiveness stand out in the workpace.
- You are focused, determined and result driven - and are willing to push yourself in order to reach your objective.
- You are a highly reliable and dependable individual.
- You demonstrate high analytical and problem-solving competence.
