The mission of the thermal systems business group is to develop and manufacture systems, modules and components to ensure thermal energy management of the power train and comfort for each passenger, during all phases of vehicle use. These systems help to significantly reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and other pollutants and harmful particles from vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. They also increase travel range and battery life for hybrid and electric vehicles. At the Front Office in Bietigheim-Bissingen we are supporting Sale- and Project activities and compose the interface between the customers Daimler and Valeo-internal departments at the development from Thermal Systems.
Missions
- Manage the industrial schedule, resources and budget to reach the project Target.
- Respect and ensure respect of IProM (process design checker PDC)
- To follow equipment or assembly lines development with the supplier
- To design small tool and validate the supplier proposal
- To define the acceptance criteria for new equipment or line
- To perform pre acceptance and acceptance of the equipment at supplier and Valeo plant
- To perform and/or collect, capabilities of equipments and process internally or using external supplier
- Alert the managers when standards are not met
- Represent the industrial organisation of the project in internal or external (customers, suppliers) meetings.
- Define with the project team the process, in order to meet performance and cost targets.
- Respect and ensure respect of safety and VPS rules and guidelines during the process development.
- Ensure adequate interaction with the product development team to perform simultaneous engineering.
- Manage the process development documentation.
- To perform trials on the lines and deliver reports
- Organise and run pre-serial trials on the line
- Measure Work Content and balance operators on assembly lines
Profile
- Completed 3-4 year degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Industrial Processes, or similar)
- 3-5 years of proven experience in industrialization
- Proficient in English
- Solid understanding of quality tools (capability analysis, statistical methods, design of Experiments (DOE))
- Experience in constructing PFMEAs (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Clear and concise presentation skills
- Excellent planning and prioritization capabilities to manage multiple tasks effectively
