Main Mission

Provide global leadership in maximizing the total value of ownership for all procured SCM -”ES-Discovery” goods and services in collaboration with internal & external business partners.

Key Tasks :

• Lead the global Procurement organization for “ES-Discovery” to ensure the selection of best-in-class market solution under competitive conditions for: Raw Materials, Active Ingredients, Packaging Materials, Tolling (third party manufacturing), Finished Products, and Transportation and warehousing.
• Leading, managing and developing the direct reports in order to build a strong, motivated, passionate, diverse and capable team Building, as well as developing and retaining know-how for categories in scope
• Accountable for all commercial relationships with the supplier base for existing & new products of the “ES-Discovery” SCM categories: Process Owner Sourcing, contract management, vendor management, Category Management
• Ensure application of efficient End-2-End process for Source-2-Pay in respective categories incl interdependencies with SCM.
• Establish sustainability targets and supplier driven innovation Responsible for the Category Active ingredients including vendor management of key partners
• Support in the strategic guidance of the function across all streams and geographies as an active member of the Procurement Leadership Team and SCM function.

• Internal: Global Process Owner/Regional Buyer Directs

Your profile

• University degree with min 10 years of procurement Direct experience, preferably track record in managerial positions Strong proven intercultural and cross-national professional & personal experience
• Leadership to direct a complex functional organization towards ambitious goals in a dynamic continually changing environment.
• Experience in Global category management practices with the ability to take ownership and accountability of a diverse portfolio.
• Excellent negotiation and commercial skills and able to negotiate high value contracts and maximize profit generation considering TCO.
• Knowledge of the crop protection or chemical manufacturing sector or equivalent is an important requirement
• Full proficiency in English is required and ideally in one other language e.g. Spanish, French or German is appreciated
