Tasks

• Your role will be to support our Belgian parent company in the evaluation of our generation portfolio.
• In this work, you will constantly have market developments, prognosis discrepancies, and general risks with an impact on the volume and value of the portfolio in mind.
• You will produce reports on the distribution portfolio and interpret potential risks.
• As a result of your consistency, internal regulations will be adhered to and regular and comprehensive reporting to management and operative units will be institutionalised.
• You will develop risk management methods in a productive way.

Profile

• You are a strategic mind from the energy branch and you regard risks as a personal challenge.
• You understand concepts such as profile risks, exposures, mark to market and value-at-risk positions as the most natural things in the world. You graduated with a first- class degree in economics, for example industrial engineering or mathematics.
• On top of this, you have subsequently acquired three to five years' professional experience in the analyses of portfolio risks in the energy branch.
• Thanks to your excellent communication skills, you argue in a persuasive manner, are able to intervene flexibly where required, and value precision.
• You are fluent in written and spoken English.
