The mission of the thermal systems business group is to develop and manufacture systems, modules and components to ensure thermal energy management of the power train and comfort for each passenger, during all phases of vehicle use. These systems help to significantly reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and other pollutants and harmful particles from vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. They also increase travel range and battery life for hybrid and electric vehicles. At the Front Office in Bietigheim-Bissingen we are supporting Sale- and Project activities and compose the interface between the customers Daimler and Valeo-internal departments at the development from Thermal Systems.

Missions

  • Sales Strategy Development: Define and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive the development and profitable growth of your accounts.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Ensure our offers meet the expectations and requirements of Volvo & Commercial Vehicle accounts, maintaining competitiveness and full compliance.
  • Business Acquisition: Lead the negotiation process with customers, building compelling offers to secure business acquisitions.
  • Commercial Objectives: Achieve set commercial objectives from RFQ (Request for Quotation) to EOP (End of Production), including growth, turnover, market share, order intake, price management, and project and plant profitability.
  • Budget Preparation: Prepare the annual budget, manage and report on the selling price index, and maintain the order intake target list.
  • Market Share Development: Propose and implement regional sales strategies to expand our market share with your customers.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in key account management or a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales strategy development and execution.
  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to achieve commercial objectives and drive profitability.
  • Experience in budget preparation and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English, German and/or French
