Manager of Warehouse Facility in Normandy (m/f)

Responsabilities

• Setting up a warehouse facility in Le Havre/ France, for the handling and storage of conditioned battery systems that will be shipped to the french customer's manufacturing plants
• Responsible for the conditioning of the batteries and for providing reports to the European headquaters and attending meetings with the customer
• Ensure customer satisfaction by reacting immediately to any customer concern
• Schedule and perform internal audits to ensure compliance to Quality Standards, TS16949, ISO9001 and ISO14001 Standards
• Review and revise Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans and PFMEA
• Close contact with our Customer and its production sites to ensure a good service level
• Ensure that personnel is trained in all job requirements
• Working closely with the warehouse supplier
• Report output to the Product Division Manager

Requirements

• Experience in a production environment, managing people and setting up processes
• University degree or equivalent in engineering or logistics
• Advanced knowledge of ISO/TS16949:2002, ISO 9001, ISO14001
• Excellent French, English and if possible German language skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office, IT-networks
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills
• High managerial skills to motivate work teams
• Very customer service oriented
