Lean Manufacturing Engineer (m/f), Les Mureaux

Tasks

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Leading cost and cycle reduction programmes (knowledge of Lean tools, e.g. VSM).
• The continuous quality improvement policy (e.g. problem solving).
• Implementation of model assembly line programmes (deep and narrow).
• Training/action for operations and support personnel.
• Definition of the Lean Manufacturing system (optimisation, standardisation, etc.) for the company and its deployment. 
• Ensuring durability for the methods deployed.
• Implementation within the industry sector of the company Lean policies with the correspondents for the skill sectors concerned.

Profile

• You have an Engineering degree or equivalent in Manufacturing/Production with a specialisation in Lean. 
• You can show solid experience of at least 5 years in the aerospace field or a similar sector.
• We are looking for a candidate with advanced knowledge in Lean (Engineering, Supply Chain) and continuous improvement. 
• A Black/Green Belt qualification or equivalent would be an advantage in this position.
• You have proven experience in supervising a production team.
• Ideally, you are known for your team spirit, autonomy, excellent communication skills and also your analytical and systematic thinking.
• An advanced level of English is required for this position, knowledge of German would be an advantage.
• Security clearance is required for this position.
