Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Analysis of structural parts, components and installations made from metal and carbon fiber materials using state of the art analysis tools, FEM techniques and classic handbook methods
  • Providing stress support to our products during development, qualification, maintenance and in service
  • Strong collaboration with other engineering departments (e.g. design, loads, materials) in order to develop best technical solutions for our products
  • Provide analysis support and relevant inputs to various project stakeholders
  • Documentation of analysis results and preparation of qualification reports
  • Manage allocated tasks and activities ensuring they are correctly executed to achieve required quality and customer time scales

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Educated engineer with university degree in aerospace engineering or equivalent
  • First working experience as an intern or working student in engineering (having spent a term abroad is seen as a plus)
  • Basic theoretical and practical knowledge in FEM techniques and standard stress and fatigue analysis methods (e.g. HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark & Young)
  • Knowledge of design principles, manufacturing processes and materials (metals and fiber composites) is a plus
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
