The subsidiary “Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions Germany GmbH” is the Leading Center for all “Lurgi” Technologies and provides competitive engineering capabilities to other E&C centers and our customers.

The Accounting team located in the Frankfurt center is responsible for the monthly quarterly and yearly-closing, both for IFRS and Local reporting purposes.

Presentation of the team

Currently the Accounting team has 7 members mainly German. We work together with the SSC in Krakow (2 colleagues) and German language is used daily.

Additionally, we have relationship with other department internally and close collaboration with other Air Liquide entities all over the world. Here is English language needed.

Mission description

You will be part of the Finance department: “Accounting” team, reporting to the Head of Accounting. Your mission includes learning the main processes in the Accounting department and taking care of some critical tasks for the monthly / quarterly reporting.

Your main responsibilities will be, among others, to :

• Doing the Intercompany reconciliation, including communication/clarification of differences with the Air Liquide entities.
• Overdue analysis.
• Monthly recording and analysis of FX-Effects related to the Hedge Accounting.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly closing for the accounting both under IFRS and German GAAP (e.g. recording of accruals, etc).
• Provide the required information to the auditors.

Candidate profile

• A bachelor's/master degree in business or finance, with detailed knowledge of Accounting.
• Would be a plus: knowledge about SAP System and Google Apps.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills.
• Interpersonal skills required
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work appropriately
