In order to support its diversification and its growth products offer, we are looking, for the international purchasing direction, one:

International Consumer Electronics Buyer Germany Located in Paris

Tasks

You will join a rapidly expanding multicultural purchase team. You will be in charge with the whole purchasing process in Germany.

New suppliers sourcing in Germany:

• You will identify new German partners in order to enrich the consumer electronics products offer.
• You will be responsible for the animation of German suppliers' network to respond to immediate or projected needs from product managers, in order to respect sales schedule.
• You will establish, via frameworks agreements, long-lasting relations with the main local suppliers.

Commercial negotiations:

• You will analyze and negotiate potential suppliers' offers, in logic of the ratio price / volume optimization.
• You will meet German partners to make sure they are able to face procedures of the defined book of specifications. You will make sure to obtain the best quality/price ratio about already existing products in the catalog, but also about consumer electronics' new references.
• Optimization of suppliers' relationship.
• In touch with other countries' buyers as well as with the product managers, you will monitor the supplies forecasts in order to optimize stocks turnover from Germany.
• You will check German suppliers' good cost, quality and delivery performance.
• Moreover, couples of short business trips are to be necessarily planned.

Profile

For this function, we look for a profile:

• Bilingual in German/English, possessing a strong experience (such as a long-term expatriation) in German. French language is not necessarily a "must have".

• Justifying 2/5 years of experience on purchasing responsibilities, acquired within a major actor of the distribution, especially in the e-business sector.
• Possessing a good culture of consumer electronics products (computing, appliance, multimedia ...).
• Perfect knowledge of negotiations skills.
