Finance Manager Germany / Austria / Luxembourg - architectural and construction solutions - German / English (m/f/d), Bochum / Dortmund / Essen (Hybrid)

Key responsibilities - What we expect from you

The Finance Controller provides direct support to the German team with the implementation of the local projects through the provision of Financial Services, acting as the Business Central Super User, and provision of Order, Sales and Associated profitability analysis.

  • General accounting of the German Business Unit
  • Managing the accounts receivable, and accounts payable processes.
  • Performing reconciliations on a monthly basis and managing the treasury process including banking approvals.
  • Preparing the monthly accounts, conducting financial analysis activities
  • Preparing and reviewing Budgets and Forecasts.
  • Responsible for the monthly submission of the financial reports to the Group
  • Managing the payroll process and ensuring all statutory obligations are met.
  • Managing the relationship with the local professional advisors (tax, legal and banking).
  • Maintaining and managing the quality management system at the site and leading of any certification audits.
  • Developing expert knowledge of Business Central and associated processes.

Why we want you on our team - Your strengths

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, controlling or audit
  • 4-5 years of professional experience as financial controller, head of finance or auditor
  • Proven knowledge of best practice accounting standards, tax principles, laws and regulations (HGB/ IFRS)
  • Advanced Level in Excel, and working knowledge of Word and Powerpoint.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central, NAV or similar products
  • Process orientation and attention to detail
  • Can work with minimal supervision and proactive in resolving queries
  • Fluent in German and English
