Main missions

• Manage the team of Development Engineers, Product Design Engineers and CAD Engineers
• Ensure continous development of the team skills and competencies, conduct team member STAR
• Defines training needs of team members and schedules trainings, and esnures proper training of the team
• Drives staffing decisions for the Development Engineers and Product Design Engineers
• Assists with hiring new resources, and contracts external resources according to team evolution plan and manpower needs
• Ensures robust product design achievement by validating the commitments on product performance made by the team
• Ensures the use of the D-FMEA approach to achieve robust designs
• Ensures team awareness of customer product specifications, internal standards, and guidelines, as well as relevant regulations and/or legislation
• Supports risk assessment on product performance
• Tracks product definition robustness and product performance validation and timing, program deliverables and timing against relevant KPIs, and reports them in EFM reviews
• Ensures capitalization of team activity within GTS standards and guidelines

Profile

• Master desgree in engineering, or similar
• Profound experience within the Technology domain
• Pre-Knowledge in Decoration domain and surface technologies: Aluminimum, Carbon, Wood Painting, Lighting
• Strong Leadership and communication skills, to be able to act and develop team members
• Agility to understand and adapt to Faurecia Organization
• Intercultural and open mindset
• Pragmatic approach and strong experience/exposure with OEMs
• Technology curiosity and scientific approach (e.g. Six Sigma)
• Understanding of adjoining technologies effect on his/her technology domain
• Understanding of the system, where his/her technology domain is involved
• Design to cost approach experience
• Standard PC Software knowledge (MS Office etc) and comfortable with digital tools
• Flexibility for frequent business travels
• Fluency in English/German
• Preferably International experience
