Megger designs, manufactures and sells portable electrical test equipment worldwide. Privately owned, our owners have ambitious growth plans for Megger, which will come from acquisitions, organic product expansion and by increasing our global presence. The Group headquarters are in Dover UK with 6 further manufacturing facilities in the USA, Germany and Sweden. The company has 33 sales offices world-wide and sells both directly and through an extensive network of highly skilled distributors. Our customers include the utilities (generation, transmission and distribution), industrial companies, as well as large and small contractors.

Mission

  • Planning, development, implementation, monitoring and optimization of regional digital campaigns for the DACH region, using all aspects of the marketing mix
  • Plan and management of the yearly DACH campaign calendar with specific focus on leading the digital transformation – generating leads and enhancing digital communications in collaboration with the Head of Marketing and Group Marketing strategy and campaigns
  • Execution and creation of online advertising(including basic website management and SEO), content marketing (data sheet, user guides, catalogues, brochures, translations etc), social media content (including sweepstakes and digital/third party competitions), lead generation (e-blasts, seminars, webinars, virtual and offline events) and co-marketing with partners.
  • Regularly check and report on the performance of all DACH digital marketing campaigns against plan and budget done to position and promote the Megger brand, products and services within the Distribution/End User channels
  • Management of virtual and offline trade shows, webinars, CRM and CMS systems and social media publishing software/platforms.

Profile

  • Degree in Marketing (Bachelor or Master) preferred with a digital/innovation focus
  • Professional skills in Digital Marketing
  • Professional skills in social media (working with brands) and in community management.
  • Full written and spoken fluency in English and German, additional European language are of advantage
  • Team player attitude, able to work in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Focused on results, committed and self-starter.
  • Analytical and strategical thinking with a systematic approach to projects
  • High self-motivation, excellent communication skills, assertiveness and team spirit
