Dietary Safety Expert (F/H/D), Lyon

Tasks

• You will be responsible for new registrations or maintenance of existing registrations of plant protection substances and their products as consumer safety expert regarding metabolism and residue topics (Preparation of risk assessments, dossiers and position papers according to European regulations; preparation of MRL and import tolerance dossiers)
• You will be tasked with developing appropriate regulatory strategies in metabolism, residues and trade enablement for new and existing plant protection products. You will be communicating with authorities on the registrations under your responsibility
• You will develop a sound awareness of international regulatory guidelines and requirements. You will closely follow new developments and policies.
• You will work in a team of dietary and occupational & residential safety experts. Your contribution will be essential in interdisciplinary projects, and you will be fully accountable for your expertise in addressing a wide range of internal topics.
• You will collaborate with regional Consumer Safety Experts to ensure worldwide alignment of registration strategies and initiatives within your area of expertise

Profile

• You have a PhD in chemistry or a relevant related area or adequate professional experience
• You have experience in risk assessment and sound knowledge of national, European and international regulatory guidelines, criteria and processes
• You have the competence to evaluate and analyze large amounts of information
• You have the ability to develop own solutions to solve problems and implement priorities
• You have the capacity to collaborate and communicate with various international stakeholders within the organization
• You have a passion to develop innovative ideas and creative concepts in a team
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
