For our department 'Digital Governor' of Voith Hydro GmbH & Co. KG we are looking for a

Design Engineer Digital Governor (m/f) D9596

• Focus: Projects in French-speaking regions

Tasks & responsibilities

• Technical order processing of projects in the field of digital governors, in cooperation with customers, consultants, suppliers and other Voith Hydro departments 
• Development of design concepts for digital governors according to tender and customized specific requirements 
• Preparation of documents and planning of orders 
• Inspection and acceptance of components in the factory as well as commissioning on hydro power construction sites afterwards 
• Monitoring of timeschedules and costs during order processing and commissioning phase

Candidate requirements

• Successfully graduated studies in electrical engineering or comparable studies, practical experience in electrical engineering, ideally by an apprenticeship as electrician or mechatronics specialist 
• Experience in automation, in case of appropriate qualification, we also give the chance to young professionals to grow into this interesting and varied job
• Very good fluent verbal and written French and good English is mandatory, German language skills are welcome
• Willingness for several weeks of stay on construction sites of hydro power plants for commissioning, mainly in Europe with focus on French-speaking regions
• Intercultural sense, organisational talent, flexibility, commitment and independent way of working
• Knowledge of programmable control systems and CAD-programmes
