For our subsidiary in Paris we are seeking a
Country Manager France (m/f)
Tasks
Responsibilities of this new position will include:
- Strategic and operational leadership, with focus on management and controlling of sales activities and responsibility for our small Paris based team
- Specification of sales policy, revenue and earnings planning, pricing and conditions policy, market observation and research, methodical identification and acquisition of new customers, own sales activities
- Development and implementation of budget and business plans including local sales and marketing concepts
- Project/tender preparation, closure of target agreements, regular monitoring of sales data, offer and order statistics to ensure complete and up-to-date information for the headquarter
- Customer event planning, concepts and participation; regional planning of sales activities
- Product presentations, workshops and seminars at the customer site or in-house
You will report directly to the Sales Director Western Europe in Bad Münder, Germany.
Profile
We are looking for a dynamic personality with extensive sales experience who fulfills the following qualifications:
- Experience in the management of sales teams, e.g. as sales manager of high-end products
- Extensive regional & Paris based contacts & experience in the French contract business
- Knowledge of key account and relationship management at decision-maker levels
- Experience in the development of business plans, process optimisation, strategic organisational development and sales controlling
- Degree in business administration or industrial design combined with the skill of using modern IT based tools for sales and business development, key account management and marketing/ product management in international product/system/solutions sales, ideally in the industry or a related area
- Good communication and interpersonal strengths, coupled with the ability to motivate and inspire employees
- High level of identification with the company, the assignment and the design products
- Willingness to travel, flexibility and internationality
- Fluent English at business level is absolutely essential, as is confident use of current information & IT systems
