Your responsibilities

• You manage and continuously optimize assigned procurement clusters, and implement strategies to achieve defined targets together with other stakeholders.

• You scout, qualify, develop and manage suppliers for assigned clusters to ensure optimum supplier base for the customer projects.

• You execute procurement processes to ensure on-time, cost-optimized, efficient delivery of goods, services and components as per identified demands and requirements.

• You ensure compliance of all procurement transactions according to applicable processes and Group policies.

• You work closely together with sales and customer project management colleagues and cooperate proactively with other buyers globally to ensure the requirements of internal clients are in line with pursued procurement cluster strategies and support standardization.

• You review demands and in-depth technical requirements with internal counterparties.

• You analyze supplier markets and trends to search for, developing and managing suppliers, including supplier on-site assessments and regular performance management.

• You coordinate cross-functional collaboration to ensure that the requirements of internal clients reflect current market offering, support standardization and are in line with pursued procurement cluster strategies

Your profile

• You hold a technical/commercial university degree (Bachelor or above).

• You have at least 5 years of experience in strategic and tactical procurement and are familiar with project business and the automobile industry.

• You have several years of experience in supplier relationship management and procurement category management especially in the areas of: Services, Major Equipment and Make to Print Parts.

• You already had a position working cross-functionally and cross-culturally.

• You have good practical SAP knowledge.

• You have strong negotiation and analysis skills.

• You speak and write fluent French and English.
