Circular Packaging Manager (m/w/d), München

Missions

• Identify local ambition and define all aspects of new circular strategy for our Dairy products: reuse vs single use, fossil versus bio, plastic vs non plastic, virgin vs recycled
• Specify a roadmap for deployment and implementation
• Build strong stakeholder management with suppliers and stakeholders
• Define specifications with suppliers in coordination with Research & Innovation and Manufacturing
• Assess financial scenarios and impact – introduce and follow up with a monthly dashboard
• Secure procurement of packaging with global Cycles & Procurement
• Support Legal Department in Industry alignment and with Government Endorsement

Profile

• A degree in Business Administration, Environmental Process Engineering, Packaging, Manufacturing Operation, Sustainability Management or a related field (e.g. with a Consultancy background)
• 10+ years of working experience ideally in Circular Packaging & Recycling in FMCG, Pharmaceutical or Detergents
• Ideally experience in recyclable legal legislation in the German market
• Proven experience in leading complex projects and method skills driven by sustainability topics
• Experienced people manager in a matrix world with excellent leadership skills
• Business fluent German and English language skills
• Strong communication, negotiating and presentation skills to manage global and multicultural stakeholders and networks successfully
