Tasks

Lead the Team:

  • Lead and develop a team of Logistics Operations Managers
  • Foster a culture of performance, trust and continuous improvement
  • Support team development and ensure alignment with business priorities

Coordinate and Challenge Logistics Services providers (LSPs):

  • Oversee LSPs for warehousing and transportation, ensuring full compliance with contractual commitments and key performance indicators (SLAs, OTD, OQD, claims, cost, activity continuity and volume, training…)
  • Organize and lead regular business reviews (weekly/monthly) with LSP
  • Drive continuous improvement and investments plans to optimize costs, quality and performance in collaboration with LSPs
  • Supervise purchase order creation and invoice flows for in line with budget objectives
  • Manage change requests and new work specifications : lead tender process for logistics operations in close cooperation with the Procurement department

Ensure Operational Excellence in Logistics:

  • Anticipate potential logistics bottlenecks through proactive blocking point through efficient follow-up
  • Update warehouse and transport standard operating process and specific instructions
  • Define and implement the warehouse (storage type, flow design…) and transportation strategy including in our IT tool
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and act as main contact for external auditors
  • Support internal stakeholders in organizing transport (quotes, route planning, customs…) and warehouse operations
  • Collaborate with internal customers to analyze process inefficiencies and implement improvements
  • Provide logistics support to internal development projects and promote green logistics initiatives

Drive & Transform Logistics Digital Tools :

  • Oversee logistics tools : TMS (Transport Management System), WMS (Warehouse Management System), EDI interfaces, logistic equipment (WiFi guns, printers, racking, packaging solutions...)
  • Deploy and monitor digital dashboards to support operational performance management

Profile

  • Education : Advanced degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.

Experience :

  • Logistics & contract Management : Proven experience in logistics operations and contract management ideally in the aerospace industry. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Leadership : Ability to lead and motivate a team

Technical skills :

  • IT Proficiency : Strong proficiency and eager to develop logistics tools : SAP ECC6 WM/MM, TMS, WMS, EDI (xml file exchange, webservice…), SAP BW and Power Bi.
  • Logistics skills: Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in logistics, including customs regulations, IATA guidelines, and environmental considerations.

Soft skills:

  • Process oriented and driven by continuous improvement
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners in English and in French
  • Fluent in English and French. Italian would be a plus
