Accountant (m/f), Paris area, part-time (25h/week)

Tasks

Responsibilities in Accounting and Finance

• Preparation of the monthly and yearly financial statements and communication of the result to the Financial Manager and to internal auditors
• Responsible for general ledger accounts
• Booking of supplier invoices, travel expenses, bank statements and petty cash
• Booking and reconciliation of payroll accounts
• Preparing monthly overdue analysis
• Fixed Asset maintenance
• Tax and cash management

Responsibilities in Administration and HR

• Office administration and local team support concerning security, equipment, cleaning staff, supply material
• Administration of the time recording system
• Support of training organization
• Company car park and mobile phone management
• Support and coordinate payroll calculation with HR Department at the European headquarters in Germany

Requirements

• Commercial education combined with 3-5 years of work experience in accounting
• Ability to understand all common accounting principles and procedures as well as fiscal statements
• MS Office and ideally SAP R/3 experience
• Excellent French and good English language skills
• Loyal and discreet
