Your Function

• As Account Manager you will have several responsibilities: acquisition and sales activities (20%), follow up of offers and orders (30%), project management (25%), solving technical and commercial problems (20%), reporting, follow-up meetings, training (5%).
• You will manage our Power Generation fleet in Belgium which consists of gas turbines going from 150 to 280MW, steam turbines of up to 1000MW and their associated generators. Our Siemens fleet needs to be at its best level of reliability and availability for our ‘Utilities’ customers.
• To achieve this, you will have a project manager role: fleet management, scheduled overhaul planning and execution, resources, finance and corrective maintenance in unforeseen situations. You make a good preparation of the overhauls regarding work quality, machinery performance, follow-up on technical issues and improvements and safety of people.
• You will manage ad hoc offers & orders as well as long term ‘all-in’ maintenance contracts negotiations. The risks might be considerable, and a strict contractual management is key.
• You develop a close collaboration with our customers and act as ‘one team’ with our factories in order to achieve the highest fleet availability and customer satisfaction. You work as single point of contact for 3 clients at 10 different plants.
  

An important part of your function also consists in developing your network of contacts and build on a long term trust relationship with the power plant owners and operators, which will allow you to offer the long term improvements on the fleet and conduct negotiations.

Your Profile

• You have an industrial engineer background (electromechanics) with around 5 years of experience within a similar function. You have a passion for energy and electro-mechanics.
• You will have a good general knowledge of rotating machines and repair techniques
• You are customer focused and have and a strong a strong commercial sense with good understanding of T&C’s. You are a strong negotiator with customers. You are result focused.
• You speak fluently Dutch, French and English. German is an important plus.
