VIE Warranty Engineer (m/f:d), Bietigheim-Bissingen

The mission of the thermal systems business group is to develop and manufacture systems, modules and components to ensure thermal energy management of the power train and comfort for each passenger, during all phases of vehicle use. These systems help to significantly reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and other pollutants and harmful particles from vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. They also increase travel range and battery life for hybrid and electric vehicles. At the Front Office in Bietigheim-Bissingen we are supporting Sale- and Project activities and compose the interface between the customers Daimler and Valeo-internal departments at the development from Thermal Systems.

Your challenges

• Standardisation of the warranty process
• Processing of field returns (recording / feedback via customer portals, correspondence, presentation of the analysis results to the customer)
• Preparation and implementation of recourse negotiation talks with customers
• Checking of incoming customer invoices, plausibility checks and calculation of any further charges to suppliers
• Conducting data analysis and statistics

Profile

• You have a quality background/mindset
• You have a fluent level of English
• You have some basics knowledge of German
• Ideally, you have a first automotive experience/warranty experience/first customer contact experience
• You have availability to perform a proper root cause analysis and you are able to apply the QRQC FTA method
• You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking
• You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
