VAT Consultant (m/f), Paris

ATG Tax Global is the French branch of Avask Group, acting as a one-stop-shop for indirect taxation issues (specifically VAT), implanted over Europe, in China and in the USA.

In order to satisfy the growing demand of the market, our VAT consultants’ team is looking for its new members to join the French branch in Paris.

To do this we are recruiting an experienced bilingual VAT Consultant (German, English)

In collaboration with the consultants of the VAT Team, your role will be to

• Manage at least a 250 client’s portfolio
• Supervise the VAT registration of your clients in Germany
• Compute and declare the VAT in Europe – mainly in German - (VAT compliance on a monthly or quarterly basis)
• Contact the tax authorities to monitor our files
• Communicate with our clients and follow their files
• Perform surveillance on VAT related topics in Europe
• Collaborate with our subsidiaries in Europe to organize and to process the client’s files

The ideal candidate has the following profile

• Educational level: Bac + 3 in law, accounting, economics, management, preferably with a specialization in VAT.
• Fluent in English and German (mother tongue).
• Good knowledge of Excel
• At least one working experience in an international environment and willing to integrate a dynamic multicultural team.

The position is available in a permanent contract.
The position is in the 16ème arrondissement of Paris.
