V.I.E. Transport and packaging Coordinator, Augsburg

Tasks

The Assistant PC&L Coordinator supports the improvement of plant PC&L Freight IN/OUT performance and Packaging costs. The main missions of the role are:

• Identify strenghts and weaknesses of plant Transport&Packaging organisation 
• Support and coordinate with plant PC&L to identify potentials and actions cost reduction, transport productivity, MPM Forwarder decrease and Packaking costs reduction (reviews, tools, convergence plan) to be in line with targets, guidelines, visions (leadtime reduction) 
• Support Division PC&L Operation in regards to warehouse closure activity, transfer activity (production, supplier, customer...) 
• Support Division PC&L Program to cost the transport, identify transport and packaging productivity and synergy and to ensure compliance to standards and guidelines 
• Update, adapt, suggest new Standards, Processes or Software for the Division in line with Group Guidelines (transport management, packaging standard booking...)

The VIE will start as soon as possible for 12-18 months.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering (minor in supply chain engineering or management) or in Logistic/Supply Chain Management 
• Bilingual English and basic German 
• Able to communicate, coordinate and motivate 
• Transparent, Teamplayer, Rigorous and Organized
