V.I.E. Module and System Engineer, Stuttgart

Valeo Climate Control Germany is developing, producing and selling intelligent heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems that enhance individual comfort for vehicle occupants, in all circumstances, while limiting energy consumption.

Your missions

You will be in charge of technical applications at and coordination with the customer, you will participate in P1 project related activities and meetings at Valeo and at the customer.

You will gather information on customer activities, technical specifications, technology trends, new vehicle programs, etc.

• Technical contact to all development and quality departments of customers to insure involvement of plant R&D on customer side
• Participation in all customers project meetings as representative of Engine Cooling, respects all interfaces to other development groups within the customer concerning packaging and functional items
• Represent the interests and assure information flow between Valeo sites and the customer
• Support exchange of CAD Data between FO, production site and customer, support 3D packaging analysis in the customer environment, 1st analysis of designs and summary reports, coordination of needed fasteners for tubes & hoses on module. Coordination of releases of the customer during development and serial delivery including change management.
• Coordination of all test parts needed for the development with project team and follow up of prototype status.
• Presentation of solutions to concerned teams and decision groups.
• Support of customer, respecting : creation of concept list (BOMs), equipment lists, test releases, pre-releases and serie release, follow-up of weight lists and coordinate the creation of change requests, deviation requests, etc.

Your profile

• You gratuated an Engineer school. You have a technical know-how on engine cooling systems -heat exchangers, fans and modules).
• You have good communication skills and you like team work.
• You are fluent in German and English.
