In Salzgitter produziert Alstom Schienenfahrzeuge für den internationalen Markt und beschäftigt ca. 2.200 Mitarbeiter. Wir wollen unsere Spitzenstellung weiter ausbauen und suchen Verstärkung für unseren Standort in Salzgitter.

Tasks

Within our Sourcing department, in Salzgitter (Germany), we are looking for a VIE Buyer in order to :

Your main responsibilities will be as follows :

• Identify and inventory project and business needs
• Consolidate needs with Commodity Manager
• Define Commodity strategy for the site with the Commodity Manager
• Implement commodity strategy by an application site contract
• Negotiate cost reduction with suppliers
• Insure QCD achievement
• Contribute to supplier performance reviews
• Places orders for projects on the site
• Represent the commodity towards PLSM, Projects and Platforms
• Support Domain Director and Commodity Manager in Tender phase
• Commit on Work Package sheet

Qualifications

Educated to Master or Engineering Degree level with a specialisation in sourcing, you have an experience in sourcing (internship ...). Result-oriented, your planning and organization skills enable you to deliver in a demanding and changing environment, analysis of the value. Your autonomy, flexibility and international state of mind are your key assets for this position. Spirit of prioritisation. Skills : SAP, Excel, PowerPoint and excellent language skills (German, English and French are required.

• Duration : 12 months (renewable 12 months)
