Your responsibilities
- Evaluation and validation of the development, integration and certification of Optronic Systems on civil and military helicopters (e.g. Augmented Reality Systems, Enhanced Vision Systems, Electro Optical Systems)
- Technical responsibility for the integration of Optronic Systems into complex H/C avionics
- Benchmarking of novel optronic technologies and applications (e.g. in the field of augmented reality, laser technology, image processing)
- Active contribution to definition and execution of research and technology (R&T) activities and optronics product strategy
- Definition and implementation of operational concepts and use cases for Optronic Systems
- Interface with project management, engineering departments, purchasing and sales departments of the various H/C programs
- Supplier management and development for different Optronics suppliers
- Planning and monitoring of development and qualification activities at equipment level
- Ensure qualification and certification of Optronic equipment and associated functions
- Technical responsibility for offers to internal and external customers
- Application of guidelines and standards
Required skills
- Educated to 5 years’ degree level (or equivalent) in the field of Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar
- Experience in the design, development and/or integration of Avionic Systems (e.g. on system or equipment level)
- Experience and knowledge in systems engineering, integration and testing especially in the field of Optronics, as well as avionics or avionics equipment
- Knowledge in the domain of avionic system development
- Good team player capable of cooperating in a transnational department
- Good communication skills and high-level of assertiveness
- High sense of responsibility
- French / English: negotiation Level / business fluent
- German is an advantage
