The mission of the thermal systems business group is to develop and manufacture systems, modules and components to ensure thermal energy management of the power train and comfort for each passenger, during all phases of vehicle use. These systems help to significantly reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and other pollutants and harmful particles from vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. They also increase travel range and battery life for hybrid and electric vehicles. At the Front Office in Bietigheim-Bissingen we are supporting Sale- and Project activities and compose the interface between the customers Daimler and Valeo-internal departments at the development from Thermal Systems.

Missions

To support the continuous growth of Valeo Siemens eAutomotive in the R&D department at the earliest opportunity we are looking for a System Architect for Customer Requirements (RfQ) (m/f/d)

  • Your new task thrilling and future-oriented
  • In this position you will lead the definition of the system requirements and the system architecture for the Inverter RfQ’s/RfI’s
  • Furthermore, you lead the clarification of the customer compliance matrix
  • You contribute to the refinement of the Inverter RfQ’s/RfI’s functions into the right sub-systems (mechanical / software / hardware systems etc.)
  • You provides architectural documentation and present & defend it in front of the customer
  • You secure the product robustness and ensure an optimized design to cost approach
  • You work on enforcing of standards and continually check patents
  • You ensure the inter-operability of all sub-systems

Your qualifications

  • You have a Master´s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar
  • You have gained at least 5 years of experience as System Architect in the automotive industry, preferably for the powertrain
  • You have experience with technical RfQ’s/RfI’s
  • You own advanced knowledge in Polarion, Doors and Enterprise Architect
  • You have advanced AUTOSAR and UML modeling knowledge and you are knowledgeable in module test techniques
  • You have deep knowledge of Matlab / Simulink
  • You have advanced expertise in electrical drives and you gained practical experience in static code analysis
  • You own basic knowledge in requirements engineering process in automotive business
  • You are fluent in German and English
  • You show proficient communication skills
