Tasks & accountabilities
- You will join a development team whose responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Gather, analyse and extract requirements from stakeholder needs or function requirements
- Write software requirements in accordance with quality criteria, avoiding overand underspecification manage specificities of interface requirements
- Develop software design
- Perform the corresponding coding and integration activities
- Conduct the verification activities, prepare tests cases and procedures.
Required Skills
- One key criteria is that we are looking for team players, with the capacity and willingness to support any phase of the projects.
- You additionaly have the following skills and experience:
- Educated to 5 years’ degree level (or equivalent) in computer science, electronics or related discipline.
- 5+ years Experience in specification and/or development of Real Time Embedded Software
- Experience in embedded software development (language: C, Ada, ...)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Additional experience and knowledge, easing your integration in our department practices, would also be appreciated. This includes, for example:
- Familiarity with agile frameworks (e.g. SCRUM)
- Knowledge of Avionic Systems, including bus systems (e.g. ARINC429)
- Knowledge of IMA (Arinc 653) platforms
- Knowledge of Software Qualification/Certification Standards (e.g.
- DOD-STD-2167A, MIL-STD-498, IEEE 12207, DO178B/C)
- Capacity to write software scripts (python, shell, ...)
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools (e.g. Jenkins)
- Experience with Test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
