The mission of the thermal systems business group is to develop and manufacture systems, modules and components to ensure thermal energy management of the power train and comfort for each passenger, during all phases of vehicle use. These systems help to significantly reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and other pollutants and harmful particles from vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. They also increase travel range and battery life for hybrid and electric vehicles. At the Front Office in Bietigheim-Bissingen we are supporting Sale- and Project activities and compose the interface between the customers Daimler and Valeo-internal departments at the development from Thermal Systems.

Mission

  • Ensure that the customers only receive products which are COMPLIANT to regulations and customer requirements
  • Monitor and validate the CONFORMITY of components, products / processes in production for internal customers and external customers
  • Customer interface for Quality Matters (current production)
  • Ensure that the Quality System is respected – coaching site Managers to achieve customer satisfaction for Quality
  • Co-pilot on the journey towards ZERO DEFECT

These challenges await you

  • Manage Quality physical indicators and implement site Quality Improvement plans following corporate guidelines
  • Represent the customer on Quality matters, ensuring effective communication and escalation when needed
  • Ensure QRQC implementation, manage quick responses for incidents (0km & warranty), and support incident analysis
  • Oversee supplier incident responses, sorting companies, and ensure effective FTA & PDCA actions
  • Manage the site's Quality network, including Quality Engineers, Technicians
  • Conduct Quality System audits, support customer audits, and provide on-the-job training
  • Participate in project launches, enforce Quality requirements, and ensure compliance with change management procedures

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Long term experience in quality management, preferably in the automotive sector
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or similar certification is a plus
