Missions

• Ensures the compliance to requirements and the acceptance of customer product specification.
• Checks process feasibility of the product design (moulding, welding, assembly…)
• Supports risk management through robust design with compliance to product/process design standards (per KM plan)
• Cost control: responsible for CAD costs of internal, external and off shore resources.
• The SPDE is responsible for the product CAD architecture.
• In further program phases including serial life, the SPDE is in charge of the design of Engineering Change Requests.
• Reporting: monthly report summary of design progress, including corresponding action plans.
• Experience capitalization on the design through lessons learnt process.
• Customer relations: communication within Faurecia Program Team and to the central technical functions.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, or significant professional experience.
• Experience in Design & Development within an industrial environment, ideally in the automotive industry
• Knowledge and experience in the Project Management process
• Good knowledge of Program standards, tools, and methods
• Appropriate training in program specific CAD software
• Familiar with primary manufacturing methods
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Able to work in a multicultural environment.
• English required, and customer's language strongly encouraged
