Senior IT Buyer (m/w/d), Hamburg

Your main responsibilities

You will be responsible for the Source to Contract Process for different IT categories. You will take over the following tasks:

• You will understand and review the spend profile and identify opportunities within the IT category.
• You will build and enhance relationships with key stakeholders across the entities and develop sourcing strategies to meet their requirements.
• You will create yearly category plans and share with the Global category manager to collaborate on some initiatives where there are potential synergies.
• You will effectively communicate the impact of sourcing decisions to the entities and actively enlist their support.
• You will ensure the interests of the businesses are satisfied whilst maintaining a commercial challenge to both internal clients and suppliers.
• You will manage and deliver cost reductions to pre-set targets.
• You will conduct detailed market and supplier research and communicate the results through meaningful research summaries.
• You will lead the development of award scenarios and recommendations for stakeholder evaluation, consideration and decision-making.
• You will organize RFx,, negotiate supplier prices, contract terms and improvement programs, as appropriate.
• You will make sure processes, guidelines, rules and work ethics are compliant with the Group policies.

Your profile

Experience and technical skills:

• University degree or equivalent education
• At least 3-5 years of experience in Sourcing, ideally in the financial servicing sector and/or in a multinational environment
• Strategic sourcing experience within IT categories
• Good knowledge regarding relevant contract types
• Good supplier and customer relationship management skills

• Excellent communication skills (orally and written), as well as strong negotiation and influencing skills
• Showing agility in a complex environment (matrix environment, different businesses, different geographies, international Group)

• Available for regular business trips across Germany
• Fluency in German and English (oral and writing) is essential, French is a plus
