Your Tasks and Responsibilities

As the Sales Manager, you are responsible for the execution of sales campaigns within the Integrated Air and Missile Defence (IAMD) domain with a special focus on army air defence and associated partnerships.

  • Your goal is to secure profitable deals and maintain a competitive market position.
  • Campaign Leadership: Design and implement sales strategies for IAMD campaigns in close alignment with Regional Sales and relevant program leads.
  • Commercial Management: Own the commercial aspects of transactions, including cost/risk/benefit evaluations and lead commercial negotiations using deep market and competitor intelligence.
  • Order Intake: Ensure the realization of planned order intake according to the division’s technical and economic objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Reinforce the Defence Digital footprint, especially in Europe, engaging continuously with industrial partners and associations.
  • Compliance & Values: Sustain Airbus values by ensuring strict adherence to Ethics & Compliance and Export Control rules at all times.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • You have Master Study in Economics, Engineering, and/or previous military career
  • You have pre-existing experience network with the IAMD defence ecosystem and a strong knowledge of IAMD market. Previous military and programme experience in IAMD is a must
  • You have a prove track record of defining Concept of Operations (CONOPS)
  • You have proven ability to manage complex commercial transactions and strategic negotiations.
  • You have the ability to obtain a NATO security clearance, (or you already have)
  • You have proficiency in English with excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • You have a deep commitment to acting with integrity and managing potential compliance risks as a foundation for company success.
