The mission of the thermal systems business group is to develop and manufacture systems, modules and components to ensure thermal energy management of the power train and comfort for each passenger, during all phases of vehicle use. These systems help to significantly reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and other pollutants and harmful particles from vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. They also increase travel range and battery life for hybrid and electric vehicles. At the Front Office in Bietigheim-Bissingen we are supporting Sale- and Project activities and compose the interface between the customers Daimler and Valeo-internal departments at the development from Thermal Systems.
Your new task
- You propose new process developments to achieve product development respecting Lean Process Design processes
- You ensure that line conception is robust for quality and reliability and you are responsible for checking all related documentation
- You support projects in terms of design for manufacturing
- You define, update and deploy architecture standards in all entities of the considered perimeter
- You deploy support about standards to each sites (worldwide)
- You support the activity within his domain, on every related sites
- You drive and ensure the skills development and grow up of his network, taking into account the roadmap defined needs/expectations
- You develop expertise processes & community in its process
Your qualifications
- You own a Bachelor´s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- You show strong communication and coaching skills
- You own expertise in production line design and manufacturing processes
- You are to work on continuous improvement and research of more reliable, less costly solutions
- You are fluent in German and English (in written and spoken)
- You show proficient communication and coaching skills
